Great Is One That Can Shine Without Extinguishing The Personal Light Of Others

We must learn that, in order to shine, what is necessary is to cultivate our interior and grow by ourselves, without the need to extinguish others to achieve our well-being.
Great is the one able to shine without extinguishing the personal light of others

Those who are able to shine with their own personal light do not need to extinguish that of others. Those who find value, optimism and motivation in their own being no longer depend or want to control those around them.

It is possible that in your closest circle you can count on these very special people, able to give you hope in the dark days. They are personalities who don’t ask for anything in return, who are humble and sincere. Supports that inspire us to imitate them.

We live in a very complex society in which, at times, we have the feeling that our wings are clipped, our voices are muted and our rights are violated.

It’s not easy to work our way between competitiveness and all those social differences  that make it so hard to find our happiness.

However, we have to think that, whatever our situation, it will always be worth turning on this personal light within us to harbor optimism and value. This way you will light your way and you will also be able to help others.

We invite you to reflect on this.

To shine, we need to erase our own obscurities

We must detect the dark areas so that our personal light shines.

It is said that only children are able to shine with their own light. His innocence, his willingness to find new motivations, his ability to be enchanted each day offer us those lessons that, as we grow up, we sometimes forget.

Factors such as responsibilities or the fact of living in very demanding environments, which demand more than what we can offer, often result in the accumulation of disappointments, fears, anxieties and insecurities.

They are private corners where, little by little, darkness settles down.

It is necessary that we “clean up” those areas that, far from allowing us to grow personally, will stranded us in a permanent situation of unhappiness.

Detect your dark areas to expose your personal light

It is necessary to detect and face the enemies themselves. However, it is very common for us to integrate them into our personality almost without realizing it.

  • Limiting thoughts are those dark areas that tell us over and over that we can’t do this or that. We are the ones who limit our horizon.
  • It is necessary to identify these thoughts and face them.
  • No to mental noise. When we talk about mental noise, we are referring to the fact of thinking over and over about past mistakes, remembering this fact that makes us so bad. All of this creates discomfort and frustration.
  • Fears are the most dangerous abysses of our being. There are instinctive fears that allow us to survive, we cannot run the red light, nor approach precipices…

But many of us harbor many unjustified fears, which clip our wings and keep us from achieving goals and dreams.

Don’t project your obscurities onto others

Personal frustration often causes people to project their anger and anger onto us, making us responsible for things they themselves were unable to accomplish.

Bitterness and frustration dim our inner light

To live with bitterness is to close the door on hope, but beyond that, it sometimes makes you become prisoners. We can see this, for example, in those parents who forbid their children’s happiness  and who, with their personal obscurities, extinguish the children’s original light.

It’s not recommended. Each of us must be able to resolve our own emptiness, fears and frustrations, to move forward in balance and be able to give the best of our being to others.

Develop your personal light and project it to others

As that old proverb says, before we wait for a light to light our way, it is always better to light it ourselves.

  • Rather than being passive agents of our destiny, waiting for things to happen by themselves, we should be able to invest in fantasy, to create, to cultivate positive, realistic and powerful thoughts, to change our emotions and thus find more hopeful paths. .
  • Those who are able to keep hope in their hearts, humility in their minds and fantasy in their eyes will also bring light to others.
  • It is a process that we can start little by little, being more present, leaving the past in the chest of learning, where there are no grudges, to look at the “here and now” with more optimism, enjoying the little things without fear, without sorrow.

Great people are not because of their size, but because they are able to take care of themselves and bring well-being to others.

As we pointed out at the beginning, you certainly know someone like that. Maybe it’s your mother, brother or that friend who is always by your side. Take good care of these people and imitate them.

Having personal light is not a spiritual thing. It’s knowing how to combine personal strength, courage and good self-esteem.
